
Islamabad – Dozens of online gambling apps are active across the country, prompting the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) to take action. The agency has identified 46 applications involved in gambling and declared them illegal.
According to Samaa TV, the cyber agency has also released a list of these illegal apps. The NCCIA has contacted the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) to block them.
Reports further reveal that the illegal applications also include unregulated forex trading apps, as well as apps that collect and misuse citizens’ personal data and mobile numbers. Among the banned apps are 1xBet, Chicken Road, Avatar Games, Dafa Bet, 22Bet, Kosumo, Rabona, 10Cric, Plinko, and Bet365.
