It should be noted that the data of 19,000 Afghan citizens applying for transfer to the United Kingdom was leaked in 2022. The British regulatory document regarding the incident came to light last month, while this month there was another incident of data leakage of Afghan citizens living in the United Kingdom.
The names, passports, and APR data of 3,700 Afghan citizens living in the UK were affected. These Afghan citizens were brought to the UK under the resettlement scheme after the 2022 leak.
