Cricket World Cup
  • Fatima Sana will captain Pakistan for the first time in a One-Day World Cup.
  • Eman Fatima has been included in Pakistan’s World Cup squad for the first time.
  • Natalia Parvez, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, and Syeda Aroob Shah will also play their maiden ODI World Cup.
  • Two changes have been made from the ICC World Cup Qualifier squad: Gull Feroza and Najeeha Alvi have been dropped.
  • The 15-member squad will also play three ODIs against South Africa.
  • The ODI series will be held in Lahore from 16th to 22nd September.
  • The South African women’s team will arrive in Lahore on 12th September.
  • The Women’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be held in India and Sri Lanka from 30th September to 2nd November.
  • All of Pakistan’s World Cup matches will take place in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Fatima Sana (Captain), Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Eman Fatima, Nashra Sandhu, Natalia Parvez, Omaima Sohail, Ramin Shamim, Sadaf Shamas, Sadia Iqbal, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Sidra Ameen, Sidra Nawaz, Syeda Aroob Shah.

Non-traveling reserves: Gull Feroza, Najeeha Alvi, Tuba Hassan, Umm-e-Hani, and Waheeda Akhtar.
