
A blast on the railway track near Sultan Kot and Abad stations in Jacobabad damaged three coaches of the Jafar Express.
According to private TV channel, according to railway officials, the explosion on the track took place at 10:20 am, causing three coaches of the Jafar Express to derail. No casualties were reported in the blast, but rescue teams have been dispatched to the affected track.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, taking notice of the railway track explosion, directed to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured. The Chief Minister ordered a full investigation into the explosion.
The Sindh Chief Minister was informed in a briefing that the explosion took place when the train was crossing the track, in which several people were injured, fortunately there was no loss of life.
The departure of other trains has been temporarily suspended due to the impact on railway traffic.
The Chief Minister ordered that those responsible for the incident will be brought to justice. He said that the blast was an act against the state, no one will be spared.
