
On the special instructions of the Prime Minister, Pakistan is sending more aid. Pakistan Sends 21st Aid Consignment to Gaza. In the recent series of relief supplies to Gaza, another 412 tons of aid have been sent through five flights. A total of 21 consignments containing 100 tons of aid are about to depart from Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore via a special flight. Earlier on August 23, the 19th consignment containing 100 tons of aid was sent from Lahore, while the fourth consignment with 12 tons of goods was sent from Islamabad. The 21st consignment includes 100 tons of aid, including ration bags, ready meals, and canned fruits. The total weight of aid sent through 21 aid consignments so far is 2027 tons. Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain attended the consignment departure ceremony as the chief guest. Government representatives and senior officers of NDMA were also present at the ceremony. The Federal Minister appreciated and thanked the efforts of NDMA and other welfare agencies for ensuring the prompt departure of the consignment. He reiterated the resolve that Pakistan stands with the people of Palestine in this difficult time and will make every effort to meet their needs.
