
Punjab Rangers continue rescue and relief operations in flood-affected areas. Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), along with other agencies, are engaged in rescue operations in flood-affected border areas. Rangers personnel shifted 6890 people and 1024 cattle trapped in flood-affected areas around Ganda Singh Wala area of Kasur district to safe places
30 villages in the border area have been submerged due to floods in the Sutlej River. Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) along with other agencies are continuing rescue operations on boats in this flood-affected area
Punjab Rangers personnel are providing guidance to Rescue 1122 personnel in reaching remote villages. Punjab Rangers contingents are also assisting the district administration in restoring routes and repairing roads. Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) is coordinating with the district administration, police, highway department, Rescue 1122, department to deal with the flood situation. It is constantly linked to health and irrigation.
